Fenix CL27R Rechargeable Lantern

The dual rotary dials let me tweak brightness and warmth independently, which is perfect for reading in the tent without blinding my wife. Color temperature range is genuinely useful—cool white for hiking the trail, warm for winding down at camp.

The two rotary dials are genius—I can dial in the exact brightness and switch from warm to cool light without fumbling through menus. It’s become my go-to for camping and power outages, and the floodlight mode alone is worth the price.

The rotary dials are handy, but the real win for me is how the color temperature adjusts so smoothly—camping felt way less harsh on the eyes at night. Took off a star only because the dials feel a touch stiff at first, though they loosen up with use.
