Usage and Maintenance

• Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the lantern and will void the warranty.
• Fully charge the lantern in time to ensure normal function the next time it is needed.
• Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
• If the lantern will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the lantern could be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
• Recharge a stored lantern every three months to maintain optimum performance of the battery.

• The lantern may flicker, shine intermittently or even fail to illuminate for the following reasons:

  A: Poor battery level.

  Solution: Recharge or replace the battery.

  B: The contact or contact point of the battery or lantern is dirty.

  Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.
