Usage and Maintenance

Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the headlamp and will void the warranty. Fenix strongly recommends using the brightness reasonably so as to maintain enough and extended runtime. If the above methods don't work, please contact your authorized distributor.

Violet ★★★★★

The rotating head to switch between flood and spot is the feature I use most — wide light for setting up camp, then twist to a tight beam for spotting the trail ahead. Six outputs is more than I'll ever need, but the low setting runs forever. Charges over USB so I stopped buying AAs.

Henry ★★★★★

The rotating head that switches between flood and spot is genuinely handy — I can light up the whole campsite or narrow it down to check a map without swapping lights. Six outputs felt like overkill until I actually used the low settings for reading in the tent. Charges over USB so I stopped buying

Benjamin ★★★★★

I was skeptical about the weight, but it balances so well on the strap that I forget it's there. The rotating head makes it super easy to switch from a tight beam for distance to a wide flood when I'm sorting gear in the tent. Six outputs means I've finally found a light that does everything.
