Fenix PD45R ACE Flashlight

The 320 lumens it packs feels like cheating on night patrol—one click and the whole yard lights up like a stadium. I've owned pricier lights, but this one's got that instant-response feel that makes you trust it on the job.

The tail switch on this thing is instant and the 320-lumen output cuts through the dark alley behind my building like a knife. I've used it on three night shifts already and it's become the first thing I grab from my gear bag.

Finally a light that actually feels like it belongs in a professional's hand, not a toy. The 320-lumen output is plenty for clearing a dark room, and the switch action is crisp without being stiff. I've only had it a week, but it's already replaced my old duty light.
