The battery life on this thing is the real winner for me—I’ve done three dawn hikes and still haven’t needed to recharge it. The 410-foot beam is plenty for spotting trail markers ahead, and the headband stays put even when I’m scrambling up a rocky slope.

The 800 lumens cut through the pitch-dark trail like a knife, and the beam distance meant I spotted obstacles way earlier than with my old light. Battery life held up through a full three-hour night hike without a hint of dimming.

I've worn this on 5 a.m. trail runs and the 410-foot beam cuts through total darkness like it's daylight, yet the weight on my forehead is so light I forget it's there until I need it. The 800 lumens on turbo mode is almost overkill for camping, but that's exactly why I love it.
